Well, I haven't been on for almost a year, partly because we were so busy last year that we didn't even have a chance to take the boat out!...SO SAD! Part of the year was taken up by my Bobber project. I found a great deal on an old 1980 Suzuki GS450, and decided to turn it into a custom bobber. To bob something is to cut off the back, kinda like a "Bob" haircut. So I took off the seat, and pretty much cut off the back half of the bike. I welded it into a rigid frame, made a solo seat pan with a mono shock. I used a trailer fender that I modified into a rear fender. I chopped the signal lights down, and also the side view mirrors. I chopped the exhaust, and welded straight pipes and wrapped them with exhaust wrap. I pulled the stock air box out, and used the cone high performance air filters. I painted the frame flat black, and painted the tins flat black with a gloss white stripe with custom pinstripe designs! I also painted the rims to make them stand out, and built custom handlebars. I then finished it off with a retro sissy bar! After rebuilding the carbs, and re-jetting it, this sucker really cooks! It doesn't look too bad either!!

THANX!! Yeah, I finished it late fall, so I only got to ride it a few times before the weather turned. So I'm itching for Spring for a little bikin' and boatin'!!
