Speaker cans

Because I don't want to pay $300 bucks for store bought speaker cans that the in crowd has to have I decided to make my own.

I bought two 6" PVC caps and cut me some rings out of mdf to epoxy inside and have something to attach the speakers to.

Put speaker connectors on them and drilled holes in the top and bottom of bow rail to run the speaker wire thru and then connected them to the cabin speakers since I had access to them thru the anchor locker.

I have about $12 invested in the caps, scrap material for the rings and already had speaker wire laying around.

Heres how they turned out.

Added speakers in the radar arch, it was too shallow so I ripped some spacers on the table saw so they would fit.
The complete project is 8 speakers, 2 subwoofers, 2 amps, 2 extra batteries, new head unit and a transom remote.
Next will be installing the new Hummingbird.
