Back in Time

I'm going to be working on my Thunderjet soon.  I found a 135 tuner I can install on my 115 easy enough.  Reckon 35 hp overrated is too much?  NOT ME!!!! biggrin

I discovered that the bottom of it is a nasty color of OK red dirt.  Takes hydrochloric acid to get rid of it.  I'm going to lift it off it's trailer in the yard and do a good cleaning.  Found a few nicks and dings that need attention as well.  Had the T&T solenoid go out on me.  Just went up and didn't stop going up till I disconnected the battery.  Had a new solenoid in the shop.  Whoo Hooo  Making an afternoon of it before all this, so Off To the Lake Am I!!!!

Got all the crud off the Thunderjet. Actually ran a little faster and quicker response too! Amazing. To think a little "crud" would make such a difference. Did though! Now she's clean and mean. A good coat of wax made her shine shine shine!! Even the chrome sparkled a little more! Bout time to put em up. I'm going to hang in till it gets cold. Few more trips should do it for this year. Come on warm
