We closed on the boat on thursday and took a 4 day weekend off.
On sunday we had a couple people with us out on the boat all day and when we made it back to the slip a few friends showed up I hadn't seen in years.
We were tying up the boat when someone yells "she's in the water". I run over and its my wife floating below water level knocked out, not breathing and her eyes are closed.
I jumped in and with the docks being 3' above the water the only thing I could think to do is grab the rails on the boat next to us and grab her with my legs to lift her out of the water, at that point I am screaming grab her to the people on the dock.
That was the most horrible feeling in the world to see your wife unconscience under water.
She is ok!!! Thank God of course!
It was an easy mistake, she was pulling the boat in and stepped back too far and fell in and hit her head on the boat in the next slip.
