Since Lake Whitney was down soo much we headed out to Lake Belton.  Turns out we can get there in 1.5 hours..versus 2 hours to Whitney.  Very similar lakes...limestone cliffs and clear water.  This lake is closer to higher population Austin Temple so it was a little crowded in areas but we were able to find a few vacant coves.  We stayed at a retired couples lake house.  They have a beautiful home and they just added a 1600 square foot deck that we could also use.  They have two rentals.. one above the garage and they added a a mother in law one bedroom next to it where we stayed. . . both have individual decks other than the 1600 foot one.  We had a great time.. Jen lost the coyboy hat in the wind and fished it out....and don't ask about the fuschia pants.... private joke.  Hey guys get to the lake and put some pics on.....
