Seems last year was a complete miss of tons of fun. So here we go in its early stages of 2011.
A couple people have mentioned wanting to go to Possum Kingdom so lets start thinking the 2nd week of May 2011. School is over and it not quite 100* yet and a non holiday weekend.
We plan on having a boat well before then, not sure what yet but Debra was not happy last year not having a boat and like they say "If momma ain't happy, nobody's happy" So mark your calanders and lets here the concurs!
Been to Possum Kingdom, once, a long time ago. It's quite a drive from here though. The speed limit for those pulling a trailer in Texas is slower than normal traffic. READ THE SIGN is what the officer said! Doggonitt!! Good to hear your getting a new boat GW. Just don't know if I could go a summer without one. Like walking without feet. Just ain't right! I guess we're going into the deep freeze part of the season. Tis to be that way I suppose. I'm ready for MAY 2011.

Checked it out and 4 hrs. + for me. Not bad for Texas. Sorry about the Texas ticket. At least the revenue was in the name of public saftey. Yea right. Are you guys planning to home anywhere near the State Park? Pic is Back in Black.
Billy, I think thats where we stayed at the 06 meet. I will have to dbl check. Its about 4 1/2 hrs for us as well. There's cabins, tent spots and Rv spots. We borrowed Debras brothers new RV last time but had to take 2 vehicles so we could launch the boat each day. Early stages right now, I might send a broadcast out and see if there are any interest.
We are looking for a cruiser 28 ish so we can sleep on it and still trailer with my 1/2 ton. Not in the position to buy just yet but hopefully by the end of spring, we will see....
