Yeah, finally found time to head out to the lake again! It really wasn't too crowded for being Labor Day, actually it was quite empty. There wasn't a cloud in the sky, the lake was like glass, and it hadn't gotten too cool yet either. Really nice day right up until after lunch, the winds picked up like crazy and wrecked the lake! I did have to post a picture of me as I realized the lake was VERY LOW!! I also chewed up my nice brass prop when we bottomed out, OWWW!! Nothing a little sanding and polishing won't fix! ;)

Thats a cool picture, I guess the water temp in Utah is a little chilly judging by what your wearing. I didn't realize it was that scenic out there. We didn't make it out over the weekend but the weather was perfect for it, slight breeze, low 90's and sunny. Non of our lakes made any news and read a few post on local boat sites that the Lake patrols were surprised at the low activity and impressed with all the designated boat drivers.
Now the rain has hit, which we needed badly. Looks like it will be around all week due to Hurrican Hermine.

Yeah, we are pretty blessed to have quite a few lakes and resevoirs within an hour or so nestled within the hills and mountains. And yes, some are colder than others. Actually I like to wear the wetsuit whenever we go out. It just takes the edge off when you first jump in. That is the first time this year I put on the neoprene gloves though.
