The last six plus months I've seen big granite rocks going down the highway from Marble Falls. I got a chance to talk to one of the truckers and said they were going to Galveston. Same rocks like on the jetty in Port A. Did you see any construction of that nature? Hope you had a good trip.
I'm assuming its for the Piers, I was amazed they were using those big granite rocks for the walk on fishing piers. Those bring big money for counter tops. Didn't see any new construction on Seawall Blvd and I didn't venture in town, we stayed on the Island the whole time.
Kim and I ventured to Lake Texoma on Saturday and Sunday and hit Lake Murray on the way home. I had to leave my boat in Ardmore at Kim's moms house cause the trailer had a broken weld. Went on home, loaded up welder and associated crap and went back to Ardmore, did the repairs and since we were there, went to Murray. It was a fabulous weekend.
I included a few pics of the tornadoes that went through here last month. The one that hit the lake tore up several boat rams and left one of the two marinas totally destroyed for the remainder of this season. There is destruction all over the country side.

Cool shots! Those tornadoes are insane! I'm totally jealous that you made it out to the lake. We really need some warm weather out here to warm up the lakes a little bit before we head out!
