Lake Travis is up over 40' from it's low last summer. First time I saw a steady rise instead of a one day flood fill up. Almost full now it should be a good summer. Can actually get into coves with shade and chill awhile. Still some floating debris but it's going away more each day. In July there is supposed to be Sea Rays Aquapalooza here. 3000 boats expected. Don't know how that's going to work with limited public boat ramps and lake patrol. Hope everyone has a safe 2010 on the water LETS GET WET
I work weekends and live 40 miles upstream so I'll just watch on the news. They have boat tie ups every weekend in the summer around that part of the lake. I'm not much into crowds myself.
Lost my "puck" from my fish/depth finder. I know my lake's channels but still miss Very nice Texas spring this year. Just trying to wake the rant silence.
I've managed to get out to the lake twice this year. We went out Easter Sunday and the one following. Last weekend was a bust around here and lately all we've got is rain and clouds. My boat ran flawless. The beer was cold and the water was/is colder. The next 80 degree day, I'm there!

A bad day in my boat is better than any other day!
Naa...still using the internet. About every other day it's been raining or SNOWING around here! Had a couple of nice weekends in a row, but haven't had time to play with the boat project lately, and all the lakes are still partly frozen, so been starting yard work...way exciting! ;)

I've never been. It's on the very most Southern part of Utah, and I'm towards the top. I've seen pictures, and it looks very cool! We have been to Arches National Park' and hiked up to the delicate arch which was pretty neat! As to boating, last year we only went to lakes close to our house, mainly Pineview Dam. I'd like to get a little more adventurous this year and try some lakes a little further away.

AquaPalooza's main event is here on Lake Travis this weekend. Had the day off so took a boat cruise and got a couple pictures of them setting up the stage. 28 miles down the lake from me and even if I didn't work Saturday wouldn't do the congestion. Off on Sunday so maybe report on the aftermath. The two pics from the way back is how I enjoy the lake.
