New to Upstate South Carolina Where to go boating and hang out ?
Anybody know where to go boating in the South Carolina upstate area ? We are used to running arround, tubing, hanging out at beach and sand bars. It won't bother us to drive a little. We live on the south side of Spartanburg in Spartanburg county right off 176. I'm trying to find good places and better yet new friends to hang out with. Help !! I have 50h.p. on my boat , alot of people I've talked to keep telling me right arround here my motor is to big? LOL ! I've found a little about lake Murray, Lake Keowee, and Lake Hartwell. Where to go, what to do ? Please help.

Click on the "list all users" tab and look for "Pondtunes" "Davidmnc" come to mind as being in your area. Clicking on members names will give their profile and location. From that point you can just "pm" them. Hope this helps.
