Well  . . . . .  We had food and gas left over from the Broken Bow Trip and most of the stuff was still packed and it is getting late in the season, so what the heck we headed to Lake Whitney for the weekend.  We rented another cabin/house at cabinsatlakewhitney.com.  The lake was much lower than a month ago.  The locals were furious that the Brazos River Authority was selling water to the Comanch Peak power plant.  Only a few ramps are still at the water.  Ours at Cliffview was originally there before there was a lake Whitney.  They just added on to the ramp when they built the damn.  The concrete was VERY old and rough.  I saw stumps and rocks that I had driven over in previous trips...WOW!  We saw a very large Glastron sitting between houses??? what model is that??  Also, I kept messing with a large heron or some kind of bird....well he took care of me.....man what a mess, I was pissed.  See pics.
