Quarter Mile Boat Drags

Tomorrow there are some boat drags at a local lake.  I'm putting my boat in the water to watch.  There's no Top fuel or anything crazy.  It's all outboards, but they should top 100 mph.  I'll post some pics Sunday or Monday.

Here you go.  I wasn't expecting the big block jet boats.  It was mostly Hydrostream and Allison outboards.  What a blast!

Nice Pictures Tim,  I shoulda brought the Scimitar there to show em up ... LOL

and By The Way ... I'm accepting applications for another camara man,  here's evidence of my son's video video work ... hmmmm

Three of us on board qnd 20 gallons of gas, keeping an eye on those wake board boat waves is a challange for me, about the time I see one I'm hitting it.

those wakeboarders really shake up the water. I spent most of the weekend on shore cause the Thunderjet don't like those big waves AT ALL!! Unless I'm going 50mph trimmed up, then she'll just skip across the tops.

I don't have a wakeboard boat, but I have started wakeboarding.  I've been on Wakeboard Forums, and I hear about them getting into it with fishermen alot.  Fishermen don't like their waves either.

Your dog is a knee boarder?  Is it a boarder collie?

Weak, I know no

Jaspur the dog is a dairyer Spaniel. He doesn't "know" how to kneeboard "yet", but he's going to learn! I just bought my first wakeboard. My boat has a ski pylon so I should be able to pull it okay enough. No tower, but I won't have one anyway. I'm to old for that.

Ha, Boarder Collie..... I just got that!  :)
