Hey there JD, we are a little more mellow over here, but we still have fun. JD has a matching boat to mine with gold striping instead of silver. The ones with the silver stripes are faster!!
He isn't kidding, the silver is faster! LOL! Glen can outrun me with a 5.0 vs my 5.7. I stilll need to get a prop on that thing and get the tach figured out. I did do some research the other day and was trying to figure out what the difference between the 5.7GIE and the 5.7GXI internally was. The GXI is good for about 30 or 40 more horses. After looking at the Volvo parts list side by side for both motors, I found that the only difference was rocker arms ( must be a different ratio) and the ECU and a sticker for the cover. That sounds too easy?
