CVX is gone, Chappy is home

The 6 1/2 hour trip from Omaha, NE to Grove, OK went smoothly. Upon arriving at Honey Creek Marina we were greeted by the salesman. A quick ride in a golf cart to the docks brought us to our ride. We took her out on the water for a drive. Minimal bow rise and it smoothed out the choppy water great. A big difference from my 20' jet boat. We loaded it up on the trailer and hauled it back to the marina to get winterized.

The trip back wasn't so pleasant. The boat was a little far back on the trailer making it light at the tongue. Every hill we went down it got a little sqirrely. I had to time it so I wasn't next to anyone on every hill. We could only get up to about 60 to 65 safely which added 1 1/2 hours to the trip back. Towing the boat also cut my mileage in half requiring an extra gas stop.

We finally made it home an hour later than we'd hoped. I had to sit in the hot tub and enjoy a couple of beers to de-stress and loosen up my tensed muscles. I'm going to have to cut the bow stop post off (?proper name?) and move it forward before I go anywhere else with it.
