Are we done!

So what's the Skinny over here? Is everyone done with the boating season since its past Labor Day? If so thats weird I thought the only thing you couldn't do was wear white shoes after Labor day.
Any big plans for the rule breakers? I'm a rule breaker, We actually have 2 more trips planned this month, Lake Ray Roberts and then Granbury Lake, supposedly the Bed and Breakfast capital. A very different lake, almost like a river.
I checked it out on www.maps.google.com type in Granbury Lake Tx and click satelite, man everybody has a Boat House.
It appears to be 40 miles or so long, were going to ride it from the 377 bridge to ? and back, I'll take one or two pics.

I don't see me going out again this year.  I'm bout to winterize the Thunderjet, course that ain't hard.  Just have to run it out of gas, change the gear lube and fog it.  I've been workin on my shop to accomodate the 18.  I've just about got that done and can move Jade in and get to tearing out the floor.  I'm really looking forward to the work.  I can hardly wait to throw the throttle down.

I'm not ready to throw in the towel yet.  The CVX-20 sits in the heated garage in a constant state of readiness.  The others are all winterized but I may need to take a spin with these 50 degree days we're getting.  Yes...50 is great weather for Nebraska in November.

There is plenty of good boating left here in Eastern NC. But it has been a little to cold the last week or so. Mine is in the garage fuelled and ready when the time is right!

Davidmnc and Makinwaves I'm with ya'll, I think I will get out a couple more times since we are having a warm so called Fall.
Too bad we don't have web cams on our boats because we could have do a conference boating deal, that would be funny!

What about now Glenn?

Still a chance you'll go to the lake? My buddy Brian, the SSV-176 that was at Texoma, went out yesterday.  It was 60 here and windy, but he said, "It don't matter".  I stayed at the shop and removed water soaked foam and rotten boards.
