Hello from the Pamilco/Tar river in eastern North Carolina!

Hello every one. I am David from WashingtonNC were we have one river with two names!!!!!(depending on what side of the bridge you are on) I am a life long boater (35years old) who grew up on the N.E. Cape Fear river in south eastern NC. I am now down to 3 boats, but yesterday I had 5! The wife has put her foot down so I had to make some changes. We now have a 04 Bayliner 185, an 05 Sea-Doo GTI-LE RFI, and an old 14ft Gamefisher!

Washington is nice town! Love the Outer Banks! Have been to Washington several times to watch the Offshore Races at Reggie's Factory (Fountain Boats). Camped in the campground there just beyond the factory.

Welcome David-

I used to live on the Tar River- back up in Granville County (Oxford) but it wasn't in any shape to launch anything big at that location.

There was a guy I talked to 3-4 yrs ago in your area (may have been Greenville- can't remember) whose family owned a wholesale boating supply or fishing supply business. We were discussing his purchase of a v-drive Cougar tunnel boat with a BBC monster motor in it. If he didn't do the deal I wanted to, but he got there first. Wondered if this rings a bell with you or not. Just wonderin'...I think his name was Dave, too.hmm
