My new Place Diverter just arrived! It's a hydraulic operated (by thumb control on the steering wheel) "Elite" model for my '77 CVX-20. I'll post some pics when I get started installing it.
Looks to be a fairly simple upgrade, from here anyway. My guess would be the linkage should be close and running the control power thru the gunwhale should be easy. Does the hydrolic line go thru the transome or over form the reservoir? I see 2 fittings for them, would have thought only one.
Yeah, it looks simple enough, but there's always something that will give me grief. I'll have to drill 2 holes in the transom for the hydraulic lines. 1 for up, 1 for down. I wish I would have went with stainless lines but that would have been another $170.
I got the old nozzle off, sanded and primered the drive, temporarily mounted the thumb control. I plan on using black tie wraps to mount it. I ran the wiring, fabricated a mount for the trim motor.
