We actually forgot our camera today when we went out!  But still a nice fun day overall, except that the wind kept picking up.  Although I saw this pic on the local news website, some poor shmuch didn't have a very good day today in Utah!...lost his boat on the Freeway!  OUCH!

Ok....Labor Day Weekend Pics it is...We found another lake.  Fayette County Lake near LaGrange and Fayetteville, TX.   I drove past Lake Somerville on the way and the lake was a zoo and really low in water.

Pizzaz got to park in the town square circa 1850s.  The lake is for a LCRA power plant.  I found out that they had to keep this lake full so they have the authority to pump water from the Colorado River to maintain the level.  The ramp, dock and hazzard markers were first rate!! no pic of ramp.  We caught a couple of catfish and cruised around most of the day....not really crowded for Labor Day weekend and no nazi game wardens.  I hope no one from Austin or Houston sees this....oh its a really small lake no reason to visit it......  Oh the no swimming sign....we swam around that area for a few hours before we cruised over to see what it said.  woops

Here are a few of our trip to Texoma.  It was an awesome day.  The weather was beautiful and the water was warm.

I noticed you were on the Texas side picking up fossils or arrow heads, wink wink!

Actually, no we were in Glasses and Little Glasses all day. Never went south of 70. We were however picking up fossils. I've found shark teeth and vertebre bones on that shore where Kim and Mandi are looking.  The sunset picture is looking west into Little Glasses.  My favorite spot of all.

Long live fossils! (I hope to be a fossil someday.) Wait a minute, I already am!

Oh well we find a lot of sharks teeth here in Venice. My brother found a fossilized tooth sunday that was all of 3" long. Purty big tooth.

Here's the last couple nice ones I found:

    I like to party and hang out at the beach. But man all that trash!!! People we gotta take care of our hot spots so we don't get a bad rep. I'm not saying it was any of you, I just hate seeing litter. The guys in Illinois always picked there own trash up and if others didn't they would kindly remind them. Let's all do our part and have claen and safe places to hang ou. Thanks for listning , I'm not talking to any one person. It took us along time to get people on the Mississippi river where we boated to pick up after there selves. And it makes a difference. Just venting, hate garbage. LOL!!  What does anyone else think ?
